Prior to joining Southern Waters Legal, Janette worked as an adviser for a national ASX-listed company, where she handled a large volume of complex contested estate matters in the Family Provision List of the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Drawing on her established expertise in wills and estates litigation, she represented claimants in these proceedings and achieved favourable outcomes for her clients.
As a longstanding Notary Public, Janette has provided notarial services to the profession and broader community for many years. In recognition of her contribution, she was formally recognised by the Society of Notaries of New South Wales in 2025.

Outside of work, Janette enjoys collecting vintage books, classic black-and-white cinema and spending time with her children.
