Sofia Paleari-Viegas is a Solicitor at Southern Waters Legal, recently admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2025.

She graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Studies (with Distinction) and went on to complete her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Sofia has a keen interest in Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Estate Litigation. She is passionate about guiding clients through complex and often emotionally challenging times, making the legal process as straightforward and approachable as possible. Her focus is on ensuring that clients feel supported and understood at every stage of their matter.

With fluency in Italian (C2 certificate) and advanced Spanish (B2 certificate), Sofia is also able to assist clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, reflecting her commitment to accessibility and client care.

Outside of the office, Sofia enjoys discovering new restaurants, watching the latest films at the cinema, and planning her next European holiday or adventure.
