Simon Bennett started Southern Waters Legal when he realised there was a need for expert legal advice, with the affordability and accessibility often missing from larger firms.

Simon likes to think outside the box and is not your typical Solicitor; he enjoys developing friendly relationships with his clients.

Prior to starting Southern Waters Legal in 2009, Simon worked for a national law firm based in Sydney. He has in excess of 20 years experience in advising on Business, Superannuation and Taxation and Estate Incapacity and Succession Planning. Simon is also a chartered Tax Advisor and provides advice on Asset Protection and Structuring.

Simon has a Masters of Law from the University of New South Wales having completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wollongong. Simon also has a Masters of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.

Outside of Southern Waters Legal, Simon loves spending time with his family and is passionate about sports, especially Rugby Union.
